Although the Home Depot does provide Juneau with a limited selection of home appliances, buyers beware when purchasing any home appliance. First, the appliance brand's warranty means nothing. Why? because there are no certified appliance technicians in Juneau to provide the repair work. Second, and this should be obvious, but never ever purchase the Home Depot's extended warranty. Why? again, they do not provide repair work and second, there are no certified service technicians in Juneau.

My wife and I recently purchased a Bosch Dishwasher. At over $1,000 and then $1500 for installation, the dishwasher has died completely in less than 22 months. And the customer is the one that again gets screwed.....so buyers beware!

Website and actual store contents don’t match. I have made several trips in the last few weeks; without finding what the website says they have. If you call ahead to see if an item is available ( which I did) the employee gets their information from the website. When you arrive at the store the item is out of stock (although the website shows it in stock). When you ask for a physical check , you are put on hold and then Home Depot hangs up on you. When I worked for Home Depot (20 yrs ago) it was customer oriented. Now it swims in the stench of POOR MANAGEMENT.
