We completely recommend Steller Home Consulting for an energy rating on your home. Trevor was easy to work with, was thorough, gave realistic timeframe expectations, and his honest evaluation based upon years of experience in his area of expertise. Not only that, he didn't mind our dog's curious nature about him. He welcomed my plethora of questions (related and not) as an opportunity to educate me areas I had limited understanding in.

Trevor arrived early to our inspection and he brought all required tools and equipment. He encouraged me to walk along with him and ask any questions I had while he conducted his inspection. He was very personable and genuinely explained items and concerns without being demeaning or condescending. He was very thorough and I fully believe he addressed all issues that are within his area of expertise as an inspector. At no point did I feel like he was rushing due to time nor did he generalize one condition across like things to speed up his inspection. His full report is detailed with accurate pictures and added graphics to show issues discussed, and he also included a summary report of main areas of note. He was also available for a follow-up call after the submission of his report to answer any further questions. I don't plan on buying another home for a VERY LONG TIME, but if I do I will reach out to Trevor again as my first phone call. For anyone else looking for a home inspector I highly recommend Trevor for a thoughtful, very timely, and through inspection.
